Scenery, food, activities etc. are one thing and getting to know local people is another for enjoying your trip. Tommy, very charming young man who guided me through Hangzhou, gave me another reason to feel closer to Chinese people. So sincere and energetic, I had no time to get bored or be drifted away with my own thoughts. He was also mature enough to keep pace with me instead of stuffing me with all the guide material. Also impressed that his company kept he on the field updated with real time information that we could flexibly modified our itinerary instead of going to temple with two buildings closed down for construction. I visited the hightlights in Hangzhou and Wuzhen water town. I do highly recommend Wuzhen if you want to see the original china.

My trip to Hangzhou was the best journey I have had to China and this was down to having employed a local guide by the name of Bonnie. Bonnie speaks excellent English and knows the area like the back of her hand. Knowledgeable, informative and with an excellent sense of humour. I learnt so much more than I could have hoped for in my short time in Hangzhou by having Bonnie on hand to explain it all to me and answering all of my questions. We hired a car to get around and would recommend you do the same as there is so much to see. Make sure you visit Longjing Valley Longjing Green Tea tasting, Lake West and its beautiful park and the Lingyin Buddhist Temple. We really appreciated that Bonnie helped us buy the entrance tickets from her own agent to stay away from the long line at the ticket office.

If you have a short time to visit Hangzhou, get closer to David who speaks a perfect English. He knows Hangzhou on the fingertips and you will discover by sharing his passions and knowledge. His good humor and dynamism were present to answer my requests. On the agenda we visit the highlights in Hangzhou: Valley Longjing Green Tea tasting, Lake West and its park, the Buddhist Lingyin Temple, pagodas and interesting museums. I highly recommend the Impression westlek show which is the best show i saw in my life!!! We will come back to Hangzhou again.

Our tour was confirmed at the last minute. Hangzhou Private Tour booked the round way first class seats and sent to our hotel in Shanghai which was very convenient for us. Our tour guide Sharon was absolutely wonderful! She was so knowledgable and well versed in the history of the places we visited. I would strongly recommend this company, and better yet Sharon, if anyone is looking for a fun, informative look inside Hangzhou history/culture.

Communication with Hangzhou Private Tour and our guide David was quick and easy. David speaks fluent English, is very knowledgeable, and has a bubbly enthusiasm about the culture and history of Hangzhou city. We were driven around in a comfortable minivan to see the main sights included in the confirmed itinerary as well as some hidden, off-the-beaten-path spots in Hangzhou. We were really appreciate David efforts helping us skip the line to get the entrance tickets during such a busy weekend. They charge an honest, reasonable price too. I have been to China twice and had 5 different tour guides all around china. Tour guide David in Hangzhou was by FAR the most knowledgeable, experienced, and sociable. His English and knowledge of China were superior. HIGHLY recommend David in Hangzhou. And i do highly recommend Hangzhou as a tour destination in China.

We engaged Hangzhou Private Tour service during our recent trip to Hangzhou with my family. Our tour guide was Bonnie who was very knowledgeable, communicative and nice to be with and showed us around the pretty lakes (A private boat ride on the canal of the westlake which was quite special) and pagodas and also the temple up in the mountains. Our driver Mr Chen was extremely polite, patient and attentive. We also stopped by an organic farm to plate restaurant for a very good lunch which does not cost a pretty penny. Everything was just so fresh, simple and tasty. We then visited a tea plantation and bought some very good Dragon's Well tea to bring back. In the evening, we attended the impression westlake show directed by famed director Zhang Yimou. All in all, hangzhou private tour ensured that our needs are met and tries to pre arrange as much things as possible so that on the actual tours we spend more time sightseeing than in a queue. He is effectively bilingual and keep in touch all the way to make sure that everything is running smoothly both with the guides and drivers, as well as the client. I would strongly recommend Hangzhou private tour.
