I arrived in Hangzhou late, like 11am, and was returning on a 6pm train so time was of the essence. Nancy and our driver Lina to the rescue!

The tour is almost exactly as advertised, starting on a boat cruise on West Lake - very calm - and then following with Lingyin Temple, Amanfayun village, Longjing tea plantation and more. It would not have been possible to do all of these stops on my own - transportation alone would have been a nightmare.

Nancy was a delight, with a great sense of humor. She was very happy to give as much or as little of the details as you wanted about each of the various sights.

The price is very reasonable and it eliminates a lot of stress that you might otherwise have, particularly if you’re on a day trip from Shanghai and where time is of the essence.

We booked this Hangzhou tour at the last minute and were so glad they were able to accommodate us. We visited the Lingyin temple, the meijiawu tea plantation, took a private boat ride to see the quite part of the westlake. Nancy was a terrific tour guide - very personable. Highly recommend Nancy and China Private Tour!

Excellent Hangzhou trip organized by China Private Tour. The schedule she prepared included visits to very beautiful and equally important places from historical point of view. Our guide Sharon had also the kindness to insert in the schedule whatever we asked her. She was also taking care of us during the whole trip and arranged on the spot any matter that arose.She also showed to us the best aspects of Hangzhou and took us to a very good local restaurant. She has been tireless and addressed always with a warm smile any contingency. When we said goodbye at train station, she was already our friend.Unfortunately, I was not keen to be informed of his family name. He was driving carefully and safely during the whole journey and always kept the car clean and had available fresh water and water supply for us. Highly Recommended!

We had a great experience with Bonnie who helped us plan a customised Hangzhou package that arranged us from Shanghai to Hangzhou,we took high-speed train first class, the train was comfortable and super service from the train staff. We took this Skip the line Hangzhou Day Tour since we don't like join in the group and wait in the line.Everything went smoothly, That's what we want. Our guide Nancy was professional, attentive and spoke fluent English,and passionate to show us Hangzhou from a local perspective.We had a private boat take us around the peaceful area around the lake, past pass at Lingyin Temple (at first we were a little worried when we saw so many people standing in line),Tea village where you can feel the village life in hangzhou...We hope to be back in different season, the guide told us Hangzhou this city always attractive.
