Our tour guide was Bonnie who was very knowledgeable, communicative and nice to be with and showed us around the pretty lakes (A private boat ride on the canal of the westlake which was quite special) and pagodas and also the temple up in the mountains. Our driver Mr Chen was extremely polite, patient and attentive. We also stopped by an organic farm to plate restaurant for a very good lunch which does not cost a pretty penny. Everything was just so fresh, simple and tasty. We then visited a tea plantation and bought some very good Dragon's Well tea to bring back. In the evening, we attended the impression westlake show directed by famed director Zhang Yimou. All in all, hangzhou private tour ensured that our needs are met and tries to pre arrange as much things as possible so that on the actual tours we spend more time sightseeing than in a queue. He is effectively bilingual and keep in touch all the way to make sure that everything is running smoothly both with the guides and drivers, as well as the client. David, our guide was very friendly, sociable. I have to been to China for many times already and have joined a lot of tours over there, so far, David is the one who I can said speaks very fluent English. He toured us around Hangzhou city, gave us some love stories surrounding the West Lake. We had a great boat ride going under canals which reminded us of Venice. We also went to a Tea plantations where they produced the best tea in China. He made sure that we were comfortable and not overly rushed throughout our tour.The highlight of the day's tour was lunch at a seafood market inside a supermarket owned by Jack Ma where we went and bought Live seafoods and have them cooked there. The cooking of the food was so delicious and cheap too. We were really happy that David was our guide. He is such a great guide, we would love to have him again in our future tour in Hangzhou.

Sharon, an excellent tour guide, opened up the history and wonders of ancient Chinese culture as we toured Hangzhou. Even our meals were a delicious and educational experience. However, her guidance did not stop there. After we parted to venture out on our own, he became an amazing resource; helped us pick quality hotels, recommended the most memorable historic sites, and even stepped in to translate on my behalf a few times when I got into a jam. The whole team of Hangzhou Private Tour is excellent. We were able to see many great sights in beautiful Hangzhou, such as the LeiFeng pagoda and the LingYin temple. The water town of Wuzhen was not something I would have gone to myself but I was so glad it was part of the tour- it was incredible. Guides spoke good English and drivers were good- took out a lot of stress of planning transport/entrance tickets/large meals, etc. We were able to see many sights and transport picked us up from our lodging and dropped us either back there or at other cool areas of the city we explored on our own (eg silk market). Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to get to know the history and sights in this very cool part of China.

I had limited time but an affection for comfort and to travel free of stress. China Private Tour made it true, hotels, meals, programs were just for may taste of high standard. I have nothing but great things to say about our trip to Hangzhou. The reservation process was painless, they answered any and all questions thoroughly and promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending China Private Tour to anyone who wishes to organize a trip to this huge country. The hotels were superb. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped - we even went swimming in the hotel pool in Beijing! The meals that were organized as part of the package were all excellent in quality and quantity and we particularly appreciated being able to visit and eat in a local home. There were so many wonderful experiences on our tour that it is difficult to pinpoint the main highlights. However, being able to walk on the Great Wall and the visit to see the Terracotta Warriors were both unforgettable and magical experiences for us. Thank you so much!
