Could not imagine visiting the westlake with a private boat cruise without this guided experience during Chinese New Year. Nancy was an amazing guide, leading us expertly through historic and beautiful Hangzhou. She was engaging, kind and incredibly knowledgeable about not just the the sites that we were visiting, but also about all aspects of Hangzhou and provided wonderful lessons that helped us better understand and appreciate our visit to Hangzhou. Would highly, highly recommend this tour. Fantastic experience.

The skip the line bit of this tour is well worth it. I visited in February which is a quiet time of the year but the area was still heaving. The planning of the pickup/drop offs was extraordinary, no waiting, as soon as we left the train stations there was a car waiting saving us a lot of time. The first class seating on the high speed train was fantasic with spacious!!!On this short day, We were able to see all the hangzhou highlights the Lingyin temple, tea plantations, west lake and hefang street...at a very leisure way.

We had a delicious lunch at the Longjing tea village where the food taste home-cooked & was prepared using fresh produce from nearby farms.

Our tour guide David's personality and knowledge made it even more memorable. David also is extremely well travelled, having visited the United States several times as well as other parts of the globe. He was a delight to be with. Do highly recommend this hangzhou tour if you have extra days in Shanghai.

This was our second booking with China Private Tour and it retained the high standards of quality & fun that we have come to expect. Everything about this tour was excellent. The train ride there from Shanghai was fast & comfortable with the first class seating, Hangzhou itself was beautiful & culturally rich, and Bonnie was a fabulous guide.She is so knowledgeable, so funny (I will miss her sense of humour), her story telling skills were amazing. The boat trip on Westlake was enjoyable, gave a lay of the land, and the temple tour was a very interesting site. the lunch at the farmer restaurant was really tasty, and I thought the tea plantation information informative and interesting as well (we are tea fanatics). And definitely worth the skip the line since it's a weekend trip. If you're visiting the Shanghai area and want a day you'll remember, I highly recommend this tour.

An amazing experience from start! Our tour guide Nancy was wonderful and very helpful. We got to see a lot of things during the day. Started with a boat ride on westlake, then the Guo's villa, lunch at a tea farmer's house, dragon well tea village and the imperial tea garden...Since we are tea fans, we really enjoyed the day with Nancy. David did a great job on the tour. He is very knowledgeable about the places we visited in Hangzhou and the Chinese history. The view of the westlake and wetland park in winter are amazing. Would highly recommend this tour in winter and would recommend David to anyone coming to visit Hangzhou.

We book a 1 Day Tour from Shanghai by high speed train: Westlake boat ride,Guo villa,Dragon well tea plantation...Our tour guide was Lisa. Unfortunately one of us got a delay caused by the bad traffic in Shanghai to the train station, and late arrived in Hangzhou. Lisa did very fast and flexible in changing the schedule. Lisa rearrange the itinerary, we visit the old street first, then we go back to the hangzhou train station to pick my friend, with out any extra charge. Thank for Hangzhou Private Tour and Lisa. She know the best how to explore the places, how to find fast queue line and find the spot that not crowd with people.

We rate this hangzhou day tour a 5+! Our tour guide , Lisa, was wonderful-very knowledgeable. There were 4 of us. We were picked up early in the morning at the hangzhou train station and on our way to a great tour in an air conditioned private van. We all had a great time. We would highly recommend this private Tour!!!! Thank you!
