A wonderful day tour to Hangzhou with our guide who had very good command of English. We were picked up at our hotel in Shanghai and dropped off at the Shanghai train station.The first calss seat on the fast train from Shanghai to Hangzhou was quiet, spacious,with clean modern rest rooms and attendant services!!!David was very knowledgeable of the places we visited,the lingyin temple,westlake,tea village...He knew A LOT of the histories and stories in the city. It was a weekend trip, and we were so happy that David could help us skip the line when he brought the entrance tickets for us,saving us a lot of time. The lunch at a local tea farmer's place was SUPER! We talked to the farmers with David's translation which was really cool. It was a great chance to know more about the city, the people here. At last, we were really thankful to Bonnie from Shanghai private tour,she called us during the tour to check if everything was good during the tour. We do highly recommend David and Shanghai Private tour! We will come back!!!

David was our guide for the tour and he was friendly. Quite knowledgeable and he can speak VERY GOOD English. The lunch provided at the tea farmer’s house was adequate and tasty. We had a good time. The pace of the tour is good and with a good head start in the morning, we easily cover all the highlights in Hangzhou in a short day, Westlake boat tour, tea village, ancient garden close by the lake...Highly recommend this tour!

Thank you for a great tour in Hangzhou. My husband and I had visited most of these places before but without guide. Now we hade an exellent guide, Sharon, who gave us very much information about everything. She really listend to our wishes. Our eldest daughter and her boyfriend really liked the tour. The and our youngest daughter enjoyed the lunch at the tea farmer’s house.My husband and I enjoyed the Dragon well tea at the Meijiawu tea village. I would really like to recommend this tour for everyone who travels to Hangzhou.

It was the first time my family travelled together in China and we were kinda nervous. We couldn't planned it without the help of Bonnie and Sharon from China Private Tours. They are "all-in" for their job. All of our questions or concerns before or during the trip always get timely response either same day or within 24hrs. Bonnie even gave me a call the weekend before the trip to go through everything carefully. She did everything in time dispite her own hand being injured that weekend. Muchly appreciate that level of professionalism.

We enjoyed it very much. We met many friendly people, guides and drivers. If I had to select one guide to award him/ her "best guide", I'd choose the Lhasa guide - his knowledge about tibetan buddhism was unbeatable, very impressive.

The cities we explored, the flights, and more importantly the hotels we stayed at were all first class.

The meals were very good. In general, there was too much food served - we could not eat everything... However, we had to learn that this is quite usual in China to serve too much - we're just not used to this, as in our culture, usually, much smaller portions are served. But as I mentioned, the food was excellent. Nothing to complain at all!

I would highly recommend China privae tour for travel in China.

Thanks Sam and Bonnie for organizing an amazing China trip for my husband and I in January/February 2019. We had private guides and drivers throughout our trip to China. During our holiday, we also had 2 scheduled high speed train ride with first class seating between the various locations we visited and we were delivered and picked up on time in every place.

The itinerary was excellent and well planned to ensure we saw the highlights of this area. Sam and Bonnie worked very hard to include any ideas of sites we wanted to see and their email response time was exceptional.

We especially love the hotels that they booked in advance. They were either gorgeous or conveniently located or both.

My tour guide I had in Xian David was very nice, knowledgable, and spoke English well.The dumpling dinner was great and I enjoyed the lunches I had. Our tour guide in Beijing was absolutely super! (She said her name was Lee/Li - I dont know the spelling) She was obviously experienced, mature, and very professional. Nothing was ever said to encourage us to buy anything, and she was great about getting us places before the biggest crowds hit. She was always very courteous and upbeat, and her English was fantastic.I would recommend her very highly to anyone. I liked her a great deal as a person and respected her professionalism and know-how. The Peking duck dinner was great.

All in all, muchly appreciate that level of professionalism.I couldn't have imagined myself planning every little things for such a long trip. All the tiny little stuffs would get in the way of you enjoying your trip and your yime with loved ones. We are so thankful for China private tours and will defintely recommend you guys to our friends around the world."

We travel from US and speak nothing chinese which is generally quite scary. However, we would like to give full marks to China Private Tour for having organised an excellent three days hangzhou tour package. The first day, our tour guide and driver were there at our hotel lobby to receive us at the appointed time , with a placard in hand. For the next two days, we were taken around a number of places in Hangzhou and Wuzhen, each extolling history and cultural legacy of an ancient civilization in its full glory. Nancy, who was our guide during the trip, was quite proficient in English, and ready to answer all our queries to the best of her knowledge and capabilities. We really enjoyed the varied aspects of Chinese culture, be it different historical buildings, alluring markets, soothing tea ceremony or luxurious silk motifs...
