It was the first time my family travelled together in China and we were kinda nervous. We couldn't planned it without the help of Bonnie and Sharon from China Private Tours. They are "all-in" for their job. All of our questions or concerns before or during the trip always get timely response either same day or within 24hrs. Bonnie even gave me a call the weekend before the trip to go through everything carefully. She did everything in time dispite her own hand being injured that weekend. Muchly appreciate that level of professionalism.

We enjoyed it very much. We met many friendly people, guides and drivers. If I had to select one guide to award him/ her "best guide", I'd choose the Lhasa guide - his knowledge about tibetan buddhism was unbeatable, very impressive.

The cities we explored, the flights, and more importantly the hotels we stayed at were all first class.

The meals were very good. In general, there was too much food served - we could not eat everything... However, we had to learn that this is quite usual in China to serve too much - we're just not used to this, as in our culture, usually, much smaller portions are served. But as I mentioned, the food was excellent. Nothing to complain at all!

I would highly recommend China privae tour for travel in China.

Thanks Sam and Bonnie for organizing an amazing China trip for my husband and I in January/February 2019. We had private guides and drivers throughout our trip to China. During our holiday, we also had 2 scheduled high speed train ride with first class seating between the various locations we visited and we were delivered and picked up on time in every place.

The itinerary was excellent and well planned to ensure we saw the highlights of this area. Sam and Bonnie worked very hard to include any ideas of sites we wanted to see and their email response time was exceptional.

We especially love the hotels that they booked in advance. They were either gorgeous or conveniently located or both.

My tour guide I had in Xian David was very nice, knowledgable, and spoke English well.The dumpling dinner was great and I enjoyed the lunches I had. Our tour guide in Beijing was absolutely super! (She said her name was Lee/Li - I dont know the spelling) She was obviously experienced, mature, and very professional. Nothing was ever said to encourage us to buy anything, and she was great about getting us places before the biggest crowds hit. She was always very courteous and upbeat, and her English was fantastic.I would recommend her very highly to anyone. I liked her a great deal as a person and respected her professionalism and know-how. The Peking duck dinner was great.

All in all, muchly appreciate that level of professionalism.I couldn't have imagined myself planning every little things for such a long trip. All the tiny little stuffs would get in the way of you enjoying your trip and your yime with loved ones. We are so thankful for China private tours and will defintely recommend you guys to our friends around the world."

We travel from US and speak nothing chinese which is generally quite scary. However, we would like to give full marks to China Private Tour for having organised an excellent three days hangzhou tour package. The first day, our tour guide and driver were there at our hotel lobby to receive us at the appointed time , with a placard in hand. For the next two days, we were taken around a number of places in Hangzhou and Wuzhen, each extolling history and cultural legacy of an ancient civilization in its full glory. Nancy, who was our guide during the trip, was quite proficient in English, and ready to answer all our queries to the best of her knowledge and capabilities. We really enjoyed the varied aspects of Chinese culture, be it different historical buildings, alluring markets, soothing tea ceremony or luxurious silk motifs...

Could not imagine visiting the westlake with a private boat cruise without this guided experience during Chinese New Year. Nancy was an amazing guide, leading us expertly through historic and beautiful Hangzhou. She was engaging, kind and incredibly knowledgeable about not just the the sites that we were visiting, but also about all aspects of Hangzhou and provided wonderful lessons that helped us better understand and appreciate our visit to Hangzhou. The skip the line bit of this tour is well worth it. I visited in February which is a quiet time of the year but the area was still heaving. The planning of the pickup/drop offs was extraordinary, no waiting, as soon as we left the train stations there was a car waiting saving us a lot of time. The first class seating on the high speed train was fantasic with spacious!!!On this short day, We were able to see all the hangzhou highlights the Lingyin temple, tea plantations, west lake and hefang street...at a very leisure way.

We had a delicious lunch at the Longjing tea village where the food taste home-cooked & was prepared using fresh produce from nearby farms.

Our tour guide David's personality and knowledge made it even more memorable. David also is extremely well travelled, having visited the United States several times as well as other parts of the globe. He was a delight to be with. Do highly recommend this hangzhou tour if you have extra days in Shanghai.

This was our second booking with China Private Tour and it retained the high standards of quality & fun that we have come to expect. Everything about this tour was excellent. The train ride there from Shanghai was fast & comfortable with the first class seating, Hangzhou itself was beautiful & culturally rich, and Bonnie was a fabulous guide.She is so knowledgeable, so funny (I will miss her sense of humour), her story telling skills were amazing. The boat trip on Westlake was enjoyable, gave a lay of the land, and the temple tour was a very interesting site. the lunch at the farmer restaurant was really tasty, and I thought the tea plantation information informative and interesting as well (we are tea fanatics). And definitely worth the skip the line since it's a weekend trip. If you're visiting the Shanghai area and want a day you'll remember, I highly recommend this tour.

An amazing experience from start! Our tour guide Nancy was wonderful and very helpful. We got to see a lot of things during the day. Started with a boat ride on westlake, then the Guo's villa, lunch at a tea farmer's house, dragon well tea village and the imperial tea garden...Since we are tea fans, we really enjoyed the day with Nancy.
