All the guides were excellent. All the guides had excellent knowledge of the sites being visited and a clear enthusiasm for their work. Our guide Carol in Xian was the most enthusiastic of the 3 guides and she clearly has a great love for her country and for travel in general. She really did a fabulous job. She was very good with the kids. My highest compliments to her– She was excellent. All meals were excellent - i would specifically mention the Beijing Duck and the Dumpling dinner. All the vehicles were well kept and it was clear that the drivers (especially in Beijing and Xian) took great pride in their vehicles. China Private Tour were excellent from start to finish and made our family tour in china a very memorable one.We have memories of the trip that we will never forget!

I was looking for a group tour last minute but the tickets were sold out. I was a bit nervous booking a private tour since this is my first time doing this. Two of my aunts came from Korea and they also have never been on a private tour. But they had a relaxing and enjoyable time. The driver was courteous and patient! Wendy was our tour guide and made sure we had a good time. She is friendly; she always answered any questions we had. My aunts and I were happy to visit Hangzhou.

Our guide David is kind and very humorous guy. He know everything which we asked regarding Hangzhou history, culture, people and etc. he speaks English very well and considered route, food, further last our journey. Car was clean and his driving also calm. He recommended restaurant for lunch and it was good and very nice place. Hangzhou is not easy city you travel alone especially if you don’t speak Chinese. Try with David first and maybe last of journey will be easier. I definitely recommend this trip and also our guide David you will not disappointed.

I have read many of the other reviews and they seem a bit mixed, but I have to say that if you are in Hangzhou or the region, (say Shanghai) and you have a day and night to spare, you cannot find anything as magical as this show, nor better to do during an evening there. I have seen the Lijiang Impressions show and that is really fantastic but the Hangzhou show IS worth the money! We were recommended by China hangzhou tour to book the VIP seats in the middle of the stage with only 40RMB more than the normal seats,the view was excellent. The booking process was quite easy with China hangzhou tour. They gave us the bookiig code and we got the tickets at the ticket office with our passorts and the booking code.Yes, I would say it's a "must do", but don't be afraid to take an illegal taxi to get away from the venue. The normal taxis in Hangzhou seem almost extinct!

We watched Impressions of Hangzhou on 3rd May 2018. It was a beautiful show with many many performers and stunning combination of reflections and colours. The show consists of some singing and dancing numbers on the water. I loved the synchronization of the performers, it requires lots of training and they did it quite well. It is a most spectacular outdoor dance show! a must see if you are overnighting in Hangzhou! starts at 1930 and tickets are usually RMB360 and RMB400 for vip seat. Webooked the show tickets with China hangzhou tour which was very easy and quite convient to get the ticket with our passport at the ticket office. The venue is just opposite Shangri-la Hangzhou, or at northern end of Su Causeway...

Hangzhou is a beautiful town, but it remains hard to grasp for foreigners (especially westerners I guess). Taking a private tour (for a day or two) really makes a difference. Our guide, Bonny, was a very knowledgeable and pleasant person. Thanks to her, we could discover magnificent places around the lake (like Fei Lai Feng), take a boat tour, visit the tea plantations, get some lunch at the farmers' house, etc.These are wonderful memories.She also brought us to high quality places (with correct prices) to buy silk and green tea. The Impression Westlake show was incredible! I have never seen anything like it. The stages underwater were amazing, the dancing was breathtaking, the music was fantastic! It might well be one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life.The tour fee includes a car and a driver, which is very handy.
