I will reach Hangzhou East railway station around 4 pm from Shanghai. Which bus is suitable for me go to the Qiandao Lake? Or should i take an earlier train from Shanghai to Hangzhou?

There are many buses from East Railway Station straight to the Qiandaohu island. And the buses you can catch leave at 16:30, 17:00, 17:55 and 19:15. It takes about 3hours and CNY73.You dont have to change the train time from Shanghai to Hnagzhou.Hope it will help. Thanks!

06:00 - 18:50 with an interval of 20 - 50 minutes CNY 65 2 hours
From Hangzhou Passenger Transport Central Station (Jiubao Passenger Transport) to Thousand islets lake:
7:00 - 18:20 with an interval of 30 - 50 minutes CNY 73 2 hours
From Hangzhou East Railway Highway Bus Station to Thousand islets lake:
7:20 - 19:15 with an interval of 30 - 70 minutes CNY 73 2.5 hours
From Hangzhou South Bus Station to Thousand islets lake:
7:45, 8:50, 9:55, 10:55, 11:55, 14:55, 15:55, 16:55 CNY 70/73 2 hours

We provide private transfer from the impression westlake show to the hangzhou train station after the show.And you can walk to the Shangri-La hotel to ask the hotel help you get a taxi to the train station after the show (Walking distance:5-6 minutes). The traffic is not good after the show, please book the train leaves for Shanghai after 22:00 if you watch the first show. Hope it will help!
We booked three tickets from China hangzhou tour. The booking was quite easy and it was easy to get the tickets at the ticket office with the booking code they sent to us. We watched Impressions of Hangzhou on 3rd May 2018. It was a beautiful show with many many performers and stunning combination of reflections and colours. The show consists of some singing and dancing numbers on the water. I loved the synchronization of the performers, it requires lots of training and they did it quite well. The only downside is that most of the audience are Chinese and they are very loud, talking non stop and taking lots of videos and pictures with flash even when it's not allowed.

We wanted to hit all the highlights for Hangzhou and reached out to China Hangzhou Tour. They responded quickly with clear information. The impression show was spectacular, thoughtful and memorable performance (originally produced for the G20 Summit) - even in the pouring rain! Masterful synthesis by Zhang Yimou. Must see as part of a visit to Hangzhou (programme is under an hour long).

I have an absolutely terrific time here in Hangzhou, all the groups have been wonderful, David has treated us exceptionally well and we are all doing great and been enjoyed……And the high speed train from Shanghai to hangzhou was the highlight as well!!!
