We were lucky to see this as it was the only night we had in Hangzhou.
Designed by the award winning movie-director Zhang Yimou and was first showcased to many G20 world leaders in 2016, the show employed the clever mix of laser, lights, multi-media, watery reflections, the local scenery and of course the lovely talented performers.
Tips to enjoy your evening
1. Online booking from China hangzhou tour was easy, but doing it early would be better. VIP seat is better In the middle of the stage)
2. Arrive 30 minutes early, you need to get the ticket with your booking code and your passport.
3. The show is well designed such that Seating almost anywhere still gives a great experience
4. There are lots of eateries nearby like KFC, star bucks, local fast food chains if you are looking for a quick bite
5. Several 5 star hotel restaurants are nearby should you decide to have a later grander dinner
6. Sit back and enjoy the one-hour show, it’s breathtakingly world class!

The Impressions West Lake Show is revamped after the G20 Summit in Hangzhou in 2016. The show is now called ????? (Enduring Memories of Hangzhou). The boking service for the show ticket from China Private tour was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the show and highly recommend it to travellers.

Great Show, recommend itThe impression westlake show itself was awesome and it is worth to pay 400 CNY for the vip seat. I sent China hangzhou tour the inquiry and bought the ticket. I told them I'd like to buy a normal seat in A2 area but they recommended that the vip is better. And it is definitely the greatest spot for this show.And the vip seat is only 40 CNY more than the nornal seat.
The ticket booth is across the street from Yufei temple. Take the bus no. 7 or if you are in a hop on/hop off boat tour,you can stop by the Yufei spot. - go there around 30 min before the show starts and have your ticket checked. Dont forget to go to the restroom before.The restroom there (20 min before the show started) was clean and western style. - The first show starts at 19.30. The shows finish at 20.30 so reach for the nearest bus 200 meters away and catch the bus number 7 for 2 CNY (the last bus is 21.00) and then get off somewhere the other side of the lake or lakeside park and catch the taxi or Didi if your hotel is not nearby because there are too many people and traffics at the road after the show finishes and as others reviewed that those taxis will give you a hard time.

We watched Impressions of Hangzhou on 30th May 2018. The booking was quicky arranged by China Private Tour and it was very easy. It was a beautiful show with many many performers and stunning combination of reflections and colours. The show consists of some singing and dancing numbers on the water. I loved the synchronization of the performers, it requires lots of training and they did it quite well. The only downside is that most of the audience are Chinese and they are very loud, talking non stop and taking lots of videos and pictures with flash even when it's not allowed.

First time in my life I took a private tour while travelling. It was awesome. Our guide was David and he had a perfectly fluent English, which is not a common thing in my experience. He drove us to a tea plantation, bamboo forest, temple, we had a wonderful lake ride with a boat and a lunch which was prepared by local farmers. After that we even had spared some time and he drove us to the old town in Hangzhou. It was an absolutely wonderful experience that we would never be able to do ourselves in a single day in Hangzhou.

Just returned from our Hangzhou Architecture Day Tour with China Private Tour. What an awesome experience !!!, Sharon waited for us at the train station as we were arriving in Hangzhou from Shanghai on the day of our Hangzhou City Private Day Tour by train. The city is beautiful, the scenery is awesome there is plenty to see and learn, the tea plantation with the authentic lunch was so original, and our guide Sharon was the best she is very knowledgeable and speaks well English, she helped us “Travel back in time “by her knowledge and her enthusiastic passion for the history of the celestial city and regions We Highly recommend the tour and Sharon as a tour guide!!!
