Wuzhen Water Town was charming, with ancient canals and traditional architecture providing a glimpse into historical Jiangnan life.

In Suzhou, the Master of the Nets Garden was a standout, with its exquisite design perfectly blending natural beauty and architectural elegance. The Lion Grove Garden, with its labyrinth of rock formations, was fascinating to explore. Pingjiang Road and Shantang Street, with their historic charm, were perfect for leisurely strolls and soaking in the local culture.

Guide Service:
The guide service was truly exceptional. In Hangzhou, May was not just knowledgeable but also deeply passionate about sharing the history and culture of each site. She brought the stories of West Lake and Lingyin Temple to life, making the experience both informative and engaging. May’s attention to detail, from pointing out hidden gems to sharing local legends, added a personal touch to the tour.

In Suzhou, Lucy provided equally outstanding service. Her expertise in the local gardens was evident as she guided us through the intricate designs of the Master of the Nets Garden and Lion Grove Garden. Lucy’s warm and friendly demeanor made the tours relaxed and enjoyable, and her ability to tailor the experience to our interests made a big difference.

Food:
The culinary experiences were a major highlight. In Hangzhou, the Dongpo pork was incredibly flavorful, with its rich, savory sauce, and the Longjing shrimp was delicate and fresh, a perfect balance of flavors. In Suzhou, we were impressed by the squirrel-shaped mandarin fish, not only for its unique presentation but also for its tender, succulent taste. The crab roe noodles were another standout, with their rich, creamy texture and deep umami flavor that left a lasting impression.

Driver Service:
The driver provided excellent service throughout the trip. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant ride between destinations. The driver was also punctual and courteous, always ready with a smile and helpful with any requests. His smooth driving and knowledge of the best routes contributed to a stress-free and enjoyable journey.
