Hangzhou Ying Shan Jing Shui Embroidery Art Museum (???????????) currently has work and exhibition areas totaling more than 800 square meters. It is a multi-functional art museum integrating fine work creation, needlework research and embroidery teaching, and promoting traditional culture through performances and exhibitions. While deeply promoting the colorful charm of traditional embroidery culture, the art museum also strives to embody the elegant, rustic and peaceful cultural essence of Chinese female needlework art in the slow-paced lifestyle at the moment, giving people both material and spiritual enjoyment of Chinese culture. In 2019, it was awarded the title of the Workstation of Hangzhou City "Pass the Flame" Plan.

Notes: The museum can receive about 30 experiencers at a time, and you will need to make an appointment three days in advance. It charges 180 Yuan per person per time (cost of materials included). Pingjia Fan Art ????
Hangzhou Fan has profound historical and cultural connotations. It uses silk and Chinese art paper as fan surfaces to express Hangzhou’s historical stories, cultural landscapes, and West Lake scenery. It applies the painting form of ancient scholars, conforms to the aesthetic taste of modern people, and embodies the creative spirit and artistic and cultural attainments of craftsmen. The works of Pingjia Fan Art Studio have won more than 80 national, provincial and municipal awards, and many of its works have been collected by the National Museum. They have participated in international cultural exchanges on behalf of China 15 times, fully showing the traditional fan culture to the world and the charm of traditional Chinese culture.

Xiaoshan Guojiang Cloth ?????
Xiaoshan Guojiang (Crossing the River) Cloth Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and Study Institute (??????????) uses pigments extracted from flowers and trees found in mountains and fields and various types of plates as carriers to pass on the cloth-making techniques. Here, you can see the roots, stems, leaves, and skins of various flowers and fruits. Everything, as long as it is safe and environmentally friendly, can be used to extract dye liquor. From the use of bluegrass for dyeing in the Xia Dynasty to the mature dyeing technique of the Zhou Dynasty, to gardenia, madder, logwood, indigo plant, and walnut, etc., plant dyeing is not only a traditional ancient technique but also one of the most dazzling cultures in China’s 5,000-year-old history.
