Our visit to Wuzhen Water Town was magical, and it wouldn’t have been the same without our wonderful guide! The journey felt like stepping back in time as we explored this beautifully preserved town with its charming canals and historic sites.

We began at the Jiangnan Hundred Beds Museum, where our guide shared fascinating details about the intricate, centuries-old bed designs. It was amazing to see the craftsmanship up close, and we learned so much about traditional Chinese culture. At the Sanbai Wine Workshop, we got to taste the famous rice wine while learning about its age-old brewing techniques, thanks to our guide’s storytelling and fun explanations.

The Hongyuan Thai Dye House was another highlight, where we saw beautiful indigo dyeing in action. The guide explained the art form’s history and significance, making the experience even more memorable. Watching the Shadow Play Show was also incredible—our guide helped us understand the art of shadow puppetry, which really brought the performance to life for us!

The day ended with a peaceful boat ride along Wuzhen’s canals. Our guide made sure we didn’t miss a thing and shared the local legends, which made the whole experience so immersive.
