As a family of three visiting Hangzhou from Shanghai, our trip was truly memorable. The highlights were undoubtedly the West Lake Boat Cruise and the Impression West Lake Show.

First and foremost, the West Lake Boat Cruise was a standout experience. The lake’s surface was like a mirror, reflecting the lush greenery, historic buildings, and graceful willow trees that line its shores. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, providing us with detailed insights into the lake’s history and notable landmarks, which deepened our appreciation of the scenic beauty. The serene boat ride allowed us to fully enjoy the tranquil lake and picturesque surroundings—an experience that was both relaxing and breathtaking.

Another highlight was the Impression West Lake Show, which was an absolute showstopper. The performance, set on a stage over the lake, beautifully combined modern stage technology with traditional cultural elements, creating a stunning visual and auditory experience. The actors’ performances, the exquisite costumes, and the captivating music left us all mesmerized. Our daughter was especially thrilled by the show—her eyes lit up with wonder throughout the entire performance. We all loved how the show highlighted Hangzhou’s natural beauty and rich cultural heritage, making for a truly unforgettable evening by the lake.

While other attractions like Guo Garden, Meijiawu Tea Plantation, Bamboo-lined Path at Yunqi, and Hefang Street were also fantastic, the West Lake Boat Cruise and Impression West Lake Show were the real highlights of our trip. Overall, our visit to Hangzhou was a perfect family getaway, and we highly recommend it to other families and friends planning a trip to this beautiful city!
