Impression westlake show sets on the lake with high tech stage set up. It is one of the creations of famous Chinese director Zhang Yimou. The spectacle is a typical light and sound show and set in natural surroundings right on the lake. It is a beautiful / poetic show. We just loved it. The set is located along the shore next to souvenir boutiques /cafes. For Starbucks lovers there is one not far away. As the crowd dispersed, it was almost impossible to get a taxi. We had to use a black market car but I was ok at negotiating so price was reasonable. Problem should be less severe these days with didi taxi and uber.The employees were very welcoming.If you are in Hangzhou, don't miss it.

Thanks for your booking of the Hangzhou Impression westlake show on our website. The best wat to get a taxi after the show is going to the Shangri-la hotel (Cross the street,5 minutes walk) to ask the hotel help you get a taxi. Or you can book a private transfer for the show. Thanks!
