Our round way train tickets were arranged properly by China Private Tour. Our guide David and driver Mr Zhang picked us up in a brand-new vehicle from the train station, and proceeded to take us on a private guided tour of Hangzhou. He is knowledgable, considerate, and very professional. We were delighted by the views of the West Lake in the mist, the Lingyin Temple Site was certainly one of the highlights of our trip -- Buddhas carved in the limestone landscape and caves complete with bats in relief. David used all of the travel-time and moments in between to continue painting a vivid portrait of the historical and cultural significance of Hangzhou -- we had the best meal we had in china at a local tea farmer's house, visited the tea plantations and brought the best green tea in China. I wish that we had planned to spend more time in the region - 2-3 days would have been ideal. Heaven and earth, Hangzhou is not to be missed! And i highly recommend China Private Tour and David.
